HOW POSITIVITY CAN BE GENERATED

HOW POSITIVITY CAN BE GENERATED

Time is tough. People are felling ill. People are dying in miserable conditions. They are not getting life saving drugs, oxygen, ventilators, and even hospitalization. Second wave of COVID 19 has shaken everything we possess as a human being. System is collapsing. People have no faith in the system. People in rural areas have no facility of any worth. Testing, hospitalization and treatment in rural areas are  rare  even in normal days. If you visit a small town and go to any private clinic and starts noting down the addresses of the patients you find most of them have come from rural areas . Ambulances are rare items.
And if in such circumstances we expect positive attitude from such people it's nothing but persecution of grieving people and their families. No lecture of positivity , no propaganda of positivity can give them solace.
If positivity is needed by anybody it's the authority, it's the system, it's the leaders who need positivity in such circumstances . But what does positivity mean? It's a 100 million question. Before advocating positivity we must be aware what's the positivity. Positivity is not a tangible material which can be produced and can be distributed free of cost. But it comes from our tangible efforts.
Now a days it's being propagated that if we spread positive informations, informations about government's efforts and achievements people will gain faith in the system and positivity will grow inside them. This will help government in regaining lost support from the People. Such people think news and informations through propaganda can generate positivity among people. But this attitude is completely wrong, this is a completely misplaced truth about positivity.
In fact positivity is an attitude which has its roots in our visible efforts, in our obvious actions. Both religious and secular ideologies have their own specific ways to attain positivity. Psychology as a subject deals with positivity. But all these ways have something in common and that commonality can well explain positivity. We will see in brief this attitude and way to attain this attitude. When we do something we do it for our own expressed purpose. Our actions aim to achieve something for ourselves . We feel that such attainment will give us a sense of fulfilment. We decide our goals as per our position in society. But when we achieve the desired goal that goal is for us and it gives us a sense of fulfilment. Our actions do not necessarily gives any sense of fulfilment to others. And even we after attaining , strive for next. Since our actions do not necessarily give anything good to others or may even give something bad to others we are not in a position to share our success with others. Suppose in a cricket match a batsman scores a century and in course of getting his hundred he spends so much time that a prospect for a probable win slips. That batsman may be happy with his feat but since his team has not got a probable win he can't share his pleasure with his team mates. This sends a sense of disappointment among the team mates who see that batsman in negative perspective. Thus despite getting a personal achievement that person's actions generate a negative sense among others and also a negative opinion about him in other's views or attitude.
Opposite to this situation when we set a higher altar as a our goal of actions and dedicate our actions to that higher altar we are propelled by our own thoughts and senses to do something good, something better, something best in service of our higher altar. Our actions become more intense, our dedication becomes more deep. Take the same examplevof a cricket match. If in a match a batsman who is approaching to his century  realizes that only fewer balls are left to win the match and the partner batsman is a better hitter of ball , he tries to rotate the strike in a manner that  the big hitter batsman gets more strike, and he scores faster and ultimately the team wins although the Batman who was close to his century could not get it. But team wins, and he gets applouse  for his attitude and actions as the higher altar of victory which serves not the ego of one person but of all has been achieved. This sends a positive signal to all others and all others also have a positive view or attitude about him.
Thus we see positivity comes from our efforts of actions. Our actions must have some higher altars and must be dedicated to that altar. Petty self internet based actions can't generate positivity. Similarly no amount of propaganda can do so. Only concrete actions which produce best results for people can do so. Unless people get satisfied, unless their miseries get removed by your actions they can't have positive attitude for you. And where life and real existence are at stake people can't be satisfied by some form of promise for future. Rather their needs  must be fulfilled in present and then only positivity flows . So actions of those who are in the position of power must be positive first and that means their actions must not have goals for themselves but for the genral people who are suffering in present time.

SHRIMADBHAGAVAD GEETA CHAPTER 2 SHLOKA 47

It's a hard fact that more than common masses it's the elite, which ditches idea of India as enshrined in the Indian National Movement and in  the  Indian  Constitution. Role of the judiciaal elite in this context has been more objectionable considering the weight of onus she has to carry to carry on the democracy.     It's the elite which sets the course of actions in most of the cases. And among all elites judicial elites are of paramount importance. In india it's judicial elite which has been responsible for killing of democratic credentials.     And when elite fails masses step in and then elite becomes useless. Farmers movement is it's example. Success of farmers mov is not less than a revolution.
