While we are living lockdown for the first time in our lifetime , certainly due to very traumatic reasons we are also coming into the contact of real state of affairs of our system and are also learning , if interested how to become prepared for any exigencies. There are disaster management plans and every country has its own model. We have also our own SOP developed after gathering much experiences in the field of disaster management. But we see when today actual crisis has occurred our disaster management SOP has crashed, and this has happened not only in our society or state or country, rather this crash is world wide happening ranging from China to America, from Europe to Africa.        In fact during post 2nd world war world all preparedness was focused on military preparation and on wartime situation. Paradigm of public health care system must be reconsidered and overhaulled. Research, training, developments, close integration are a few things urgently needed . At the same time supply chain needs to be enriched. Big hospitals r must but to cater the vast population as that of ours we need some moreb options.as well, more than PHCs and APHCs. Some sort of Mohalla Clinic may be one option. And ANMs are not sufficient. Something like well trained, well equipped  स्वास्थ्य मित्र needs to be created. Neither the world is   going to be doomed nor the COVID-19  is going to be last pendemic.  So for survival in future we need servicing of public health care system in totality.

#sociologyofcorona कोरोना के अन्य पहलू --------------------------- नॉवेल कोरोना वायरस और इससे जनित बीमारी COVID19 से बचाव और इलाज के बारे में बहुत कुछ लिखा कहा जा रहा है। इसके आर्थिक पक्ष की भी चर्चा हो रही है और उन राजनेताओं की भी खूब आलोचना हो रही है जिन्होंने शुरुआत में इस बीमारी को हल्के में लिया जिसके कारण उनका सुखी सम्पन्न देश आज कोरोना की मार से कराह रहा है। लेकिन इन सब के बीचएक चीज ऐसा भी है  जिसकी भारी कीमत हमें पोस्टकोरोंना फेज में चुकानी पड़ सकती है वो है इस बीमारी के सामाजिक परिणाम। पिछली बीमारी जिसके व्यापक सामाजिक परिणाम हुए थे वो एड्स था, लेकिन एड्स की व्यपकता इतनी कभी नहीं थी और न ही हो पाएगी सो इसके सामाजिक परिणाम भी सीमित ही रहे।       वैसे तो किसी भी मृत्यु के चाहे वो जिस कारण से होते हों उनके सामाजिक परिणाम होते हीं हैं और कोरोना के मामले में भी ऐसे ही परिणाम आते हैं। लेकिन कोरोना के कारण एक अलग तरह की सामाजिक समस्या उत्पन्न होने लगी है। एक ही समाज, एक ही परिवार, एक ही सोसाइटी, एक ही मोहल्ले, एक ही शहर/गाँव में अपनों से भौतिक और सामाजिक  दूरी ...

#sociologyofcorona जिंदगी ठहरी जरूर है, पर खत्म तो नहीं हुई है न? इस ठहरी हुई जिंदगी में जिंदा बने रहने की जो हलचल है, जो जुनून है, वही जुनून जिंदगी को फिर से गति भी देगी और कोरोना को मात भी देगी। इस ठहरी हुई जिंदगी में ऐसा बहुत कुछ हो रहा है जो इंसान को उसकी इंसानियत पर भरोसा भी दिला रहा है और ये भी बता रहा है कि इंसानियत की ताकत, उसके जज़्बात इतने गहरे हैं कि वो इंसान और इंसानियत के किसी भी दुश्मन को हरा सकते हैं, भले ये लड़ाई थोड़ी लम्बी ही क्यों न चले।       साथ ही इस ठहरी हुई जिंदगी ने एक मौका भी दिया है कि इंसान ठहर कर परख सके कि वो सभ्यता की सदियों को पार कर आखिर पहुँचा कँहा है? मानव सभ्यता का इतिहास जँहा एक तरफ रूहानी और आध्यात्मिक उपलब्धियों से भाड़ा पड़ा है, वंही चमत्कारिक वैज्ञानिक और तकनीकी उपब्धियों का असीमित खजाना भी है इसके पास। लेकिन जो बात सालती है वो है इंसानी सभ्यता की तारीख में बड़े नरसंहारों वाली लड़ाइयाँ जो इंसान के इलाको पर कब्जा करने की  कबीलाई लालच के परिणाम ही रहें हैं। इंसान समस्त धरती को (या कहें तीनों लोकों पर) कब्जे को लेकर इतना लालायित रह...

Only how to prevent the spread of corona, how to treat the corona, and how to encounter the financial repurcussions of corona are being discussed. Almost entire population is behind the forewalls of their houses. Companies are giving incentives, like reading books online and the govt is providing theological entertainment by allowing retelcast of the legendary TV serial the Ramayan. Although our entertainment industry & online industry are  still far behind . They are far from their obligations. They can do much better but as usual in our country we  r looking for  govt efforts even in this field. No major online or media player has come forward with any package worth mentioning. It's the govt here also who is trying something . No major player has come forward , its the govt which is fighting with its resource. Sadly we have no Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Jack Ma . We have some different sorts of tycoons. Anyway...
