We have to understand the present Anti Farm Laws Movement in light of following perspectives
1.Importance of land as the major source of livelihood
2. Lack of proper facilities for farmer community for getting trained in industrial and management skills to change the occupation
3.Lack of trust between farmer community and industrialists
4. Lack of trust in Government's promises and claims, particularly experienced by the general publuc in Corona time when the Government ignored the genral public at the cost of industrial elites.
5. Fear about proposed agreement between unmatched parties, on the one hand billionaires and on the other hand farmers.
6.Fear of becoming worker in factories by losing proprietary right over land
7.Week safeguards in the Acts for the farmers which further deepens mistrust against the government in the minds of farmers.
8.No provisions for social net for meeting unseen hardships which the farmers may face in eventuality of loss.
9.Apprehension of economic distress unleashed by massive technological assault and market forces as happened in Europe where farmers had to forfeit their lands in favour of industries to become labours in the same.
