We need a very stable conscience to fight battles against all odds that rule our society. Society is plagued by all forms of inequalities, corruption, violence , and greed of power and financial elites. Inequalities have enabled small groups of corrupt elites to plunder resources of our society that exist in natural forms, human forms and man made forms. But band of warriors that exist today are no comperision . This is because most of the opponents are philosophically hollow in their inside. Fight for truth can't be fought by untruthful soldiers. If we visit the life of Mahatma Gandhi we find he first had to fight with his his own rotten conscience. After correcting his own evils he could be able to take up the enemies of society who belonged both to Britishers and Indians. On political front rulers of foreign country and on social front dominant caste groups and communal forces were the prime adversaries. But Gandhi could manage to fight against the both simultaneously and this could be possible only because he had already succeeded to achieve stable conscience at the level of his self.
Life of Mahatma Gandhi teaches us a lot. We need to weed out our real enemies which reside inside us like greed, unnecessary cravings, anger, jealousity , violence, untruthfulness, false belief in our ego, our belief in useless traditions and superstitions, etc. All these negativity make our self completely unstable and this unstable self doesn't permit us to be morally strong enough to stand up against all forms of evils which are sins in the language of religion, corrupt practices in the language of sociology, tyrannical rule in the language of politics and exploitation in the language of economics.
