HINDUS-THEY ARE NOT IN DANGER

Hindus were never in danger and even today they are not in danger. As a religious stream Hinduism has been serviving for thousands of years not because of her bigotry but because of her tolerance and inclusiveness. The most striking challange which Hinduism has  faced till today was from Buddhism which radically altered Hinduism to  such an extent that when u read original teachings of Lord Budha and Shrimadbhagavat Geeta u find a lot of similarities. Buddhism had also strong royal patronage. But Hinduism due to her tolerance just adjusted and servived . If someone has even  a small understanding of History he may notice when Chanakya formulated his law for rule for Empires and when Maurya Empire was established with his philosophical patronage he never adopted coercive attitude towards Buddhism which had support of earlier rulers of Patliputra . Magadh was largely under the influence of Buddhism and Jainism from the days of Ajatashatru but advent of Mauryans  under the philosophical guidance of Vishnugupta didn't make the rulers religious bigot.  This trend continued more or less till the advent of Muslims in India but advent of Akbar again brought the old practice of religious tolerance on part of rulers. We must remember that Hinduism is a polytheist religion unlike Islam and like other polytheist religions Hinduism has been more tolerant. In recent years so called Hindu ideologues have been trying to identify Hinduism with single God and a particular slogan containing the name of a particular Lord is being popularized whereas in Hinduism as scriptures tell us there is  one Supreme God, Parmatma , with the concept of immortal soul and His manifestations are different gods and goddesses . So all are equally revered and we Hindus worship different gods and goddesses in the same temple. In entire history and even in mythical times Hindus never insulted at least thematically  other gods. Even Shukracharya who was the  teacher of Asuras was revered. Even mother of Asuras Diti was respected. Both  Sur and Asur as Puranas tell us are sons of the same father Saint Kashyap. Such has been the level of tolerance . So if today Hindus are showing intolerance towards other religions this is not in tune with  either  history or myth. Hinduism if anything wants to do is to protect the rich heritage of this subcontinent which is full of diversity. The burden of saving this landmass with her prisitne purity lies on the shoulders of Hindus . And this onus demands tolerance in theory and practice both. At the same time followers of  other major religion of Inda , Islam are also duty bound to protect this heritage which has their shares as well. They will  also have to come forward openly to denounce militancy of both  streams. If they fail to denounce Islamic militancy it's hard for them to get a respected place in the society which is heavily dominated by Hindus. They must remember their core religious values which are being mis represented by their militant ideologues.

SHRIMADBHAGAVAD GEETA CHAPTER 2 SHLOKA 47

It's a hard fact that more than common masses it's the elite, which ditches idea of India as enshrined in the Indian National Movement and in  the  Indian  Constitution. Role of the judiciaal elite in this context has been more objectionable considering the weight of onus she has to carry to carry on the democracy.     It's the elite which sets the course of actions in most of the cases. And among all elites judicial elites are of paramount importance. In india it's judicial elite which has been responsible for killing of democratic credentials.     And when elite fails masses step in and then elite becomes useless. Farmers movement is it's example. Success of farmers mov is not less than a revolution.
