Sanskritization is sociological jargon characterising the cultural movement of India's middle and lower castes and in some cases tribes as well towards higher echelons of caste hierarchy by adopting cultural practises of those castes at higher hierarchy. Recently the same phenomenon is happening in the field of power politics also. Sociological Sanscritization had not only enabled the lower and middle castes to achieve higher cultural bases, but also empowered them politically and economically. In the middle of the last decade with the fall of Congress party majority of political class started shifting towards the BJP which had come in power in center. If it would have been just a political migration for the sake of share in political power only it could be explained in terms of defection but the reality is that for the first time this shift or migration was not only for political gains as commonly misunderstood . BJP represents the rise of Hindu hegemony , hindus for the first time in history after first muslim invasions in the 8th century are feeling the days of hindu rule has returned and that's why migration towards BJP or hindu politics serves more than one purpose. On the political front this gives a sense of relaxation as almost 80 percent population is hindu and those moving towards the fold of hindu politics feel safe as they are confident that this single identity with hindu politics will save their political career in the democratic and even in the election less non democratic regimes. Secondly this also instills a sense of pride in the migrating politicians as they feel they are serving a great cause of hindu rise. They are sure they are playing their part in the history by supporting hindu rule in a hindu majority country. Thirdly at the economic front this is also suitable as proximity with power gives a sense safety and protection. This cultural pride has been translated into the theory of nationalism for encircling the common masses which may not be benefitted materially, culturally and politically but which will support the shift in the name of nationalism. The same is true for non political  elite which is comprised of academic, judiciary people and people from other professions. Media and propaganda are serving the purpose. The role of media and propaganda is to circumvent the thought process of common masses and to compel them to consciously forget the loss of their share in economic progress and civil rights.
At  the other end is the secular forces which are losing their relevance because of certain reasons, such as self caging and distancing from ground realities. Indian left was more rooted in USSR and China . Similarly the Congress party , once representing all castes and religions started distancing itself from the ground reality and limiting itsrlf  in the hands of english speaking high professionals and capitalists. The party had once both Nehru and Patel, the party had affinity and connection with bothindustrialists and peasants , the party had leaders from both upper and middle castes , but after Nehru the party started losing it's Indianness and gradually slipped into the hands of more westernized leaders who had no  connection with  and no respect for  Indian little and great traditions . In the mean time rise of middle class in 90s is one such event which has brought a class on the scene which is not faithful to anyone . This class has no political ideology and commitment. Rather this class has only it's financial benefits in its sight. Thus Indian liberals are not liberals in the political sense and the parties banking on them have left empty without any permanent support base.

SHRIMADBHAGAVAD GEETA CHAPTER 2 SHLOKA 47

It's a hard fact that more than common masses it's the elite, which ditches idea of India as enshrined in the Indian National Movement and in  the  Indian  Constitution. Role of the judiciaal elite in this context has been more objectionable considering the weight of onus she has to carry to carry on the democracy.     It's the elite which sets the course of actions in most of the cases. And among all elites judicial elites are of paramount importance. In india it's judicial elite which has been responsible for killing of democratic credentials.     And when elite fails masses step in and then elite becomes useless. Farmers movement is it's example. Success of farmers mov is not less than a revolution.
